What the badge actually means

Sellers can join ShobShob by accepting responsibility for identifying, obtaining, and maintaining every licence, permit, approval, and food- safety requirement that applies to them. Licence numbers and document uploads are optional during routine onboarding.

A document was actually reviewed

The badge appears only after a ShobShob admin reviews at least one voluntarily supplied licence, permit, or approval document. Self-attestation alone never earns it.

The claim is deliberately narrow

It means a document was reviewed on the recorded date. It does not mean ShobShob or a government agency certified the kitchen, every requirement, every menu item, or ongoing compliance.

Badges can be removed

We may remove a badge when evidence expires, changes, conflicts with an official record, or becomes due for another review. The seller remains responsible for promptly reporting changes.

What our review doesn't cover

ShobShob does not independently verify every seller's credentials. A badge is not government approval, an inspection, a food-safety certification, or a guarantee that a document is authentic, current, or sufficient for every activity. Ingredient and allergen information comes from each independent seller, and cross-contact is possible.

If something goes wrong

Your card is only charged when a cook accepts your order, every order has a self-serve cancellation window, and our team reviews reported problems. We may request proof from a seller, remove a badge, hide listings, pause ordering, or suspend a seller where appropriate.
